I bought it off of classicshaving.com announced as "presharpened." Does this mean it has been honed, or will I need to send it out?

That means it's sharp, but not shave ready, you will need honing.

I don't know . I would contact the folks at Classic Shaving and ask them if the presharpend razor was hand honed by them or if it was sharpend by Dovo . If the razor was not hand honed by Classic Shaving , it will need to be hand honed by someone who knows what they are doing . Sharpening a razor is not the same as sharpening a knife . Most , if not all knife sharpening services do not know how to properly hone a razor . The best person to hone a straight razor , is someone who shaves with a straight razor . Presharpend from classic will be pro honed it will be shave ready.

The wording is confusing. I think Pre-Sharpened is from Dovo and not honed.
