Thread: Just one pass - which way to go?

Anyone have a preference when you make just one pass? It seems that I don't get a "good shave" until I go for a second pass either XTG or ATG, but I'm hesitant to start this way. Won't one WTG pass just leave me with ultra-short stubble? Thanks for the feedback.

well it's something that you have to experiment with and figure out what you like best.
depending on the razor, how close of a shave i want or just how i feel at that particular moment i can do one pass shave in any direction. Or in different directions in different areas of my face.

All wet shaving relies on 'stubble reduction', generally achieved through multiple passes.

The multi-blade cartridge razors were designed to compact the multiple passes into a single pass, albeit all in the same direction !

With the grain (of course). Even when I used cartridges I first went with the grain.
