Thread: Hello all

I, like a few of the other fellows, feel its time to say hello. I have been lurking a month or so.

Tomorrow will be my first straight razor shave. I've been reading all of the threads relevant to a noob on his first attempt, watching the videos, aquired a fine shave ready razor from Sham, spoken with a few of the experienced guys. Even had a fairly successful attemp with creating lather this morning so..... now its time to put it all together.

I am heading away with the bride on a mini vacation down the shore. Will be nice and relaxing as we have three teen aged daughters and not much time "just us" time together. So, I will take the opportunity to relax a bit more with what I feel will be an enjoyable straight razor shave, a nice cigar or two, a few beverages and NO WORK.
