    Nice score. The Blackie came both ways and I think those are original scales. The vintage NY razors are as good as the Solingens or so I am told by a friend who has some from Ellicottville.

    If it was me I would just hit it with semichrome or maas or some such metal polish on a paper towel. Refinishing with sandpaper is a lot of time consuming work I think. More than I would want to do with the blade in that nice a shape. YMMV.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
