On one of the Livi videos you can see him touching up a loom strop with CrOx crayon and just applying it over the top of the stuff thats already on there. So I guess you can do the same, just dont apply too much as CrOx does work better if applied thinly.

If you want to get rid of the old CrOx or diamond spray off balsa you can just sand it down and reapply to the fresh wood. Thats one of the huge benefits of balsa!

Basically just apply more when the sharpening qualities of the paste start to fade.
