Who me? I started by finding some sub15$ str8 razors for a buddy a year ago. Both of them honed well and were passed on. Then I found a couple, <10$ W&B and Wolsty, for my son and learned that I had a good eye for steel. Then...Well I have ten restored razors ready for the hones, 12 more ready for scales and the hones. Another ten or more that will be restored including a few <1895 Sheffields, I gotta learn before I really hit hard steel!!!!. And and a humongous box of stuff that came along with all the above.
And.. a few, like 20+ DEs that are now in great shape. A few red tips, A couple blue tips, a few slims, an Aluminum handled traveler in a 2" by2" zipper case and a couple nice Autohones in box. a couple Fat boys and ....I use one about three days a week.
And I have one good shave ready Straight and use it a couple times a week. And as the razors come off the hones I shall find the type and grind I like best and ...
