Default First post, found a good deal

For my first post I thought I would pass this along.

One of my work partners called me last night and told me that he stopped by Rite Aid in the Thornton Colorado area to pick up some Real Shaving Company shaving stuff. He advised that the price on the shelf was $4.99, no on sale sticker. When he went up to the register it rang up at $2.99, so he went back and grabbed a couple extra.

He lives across town so I went by one closer to me (Littleton). I saw they were also marked $4.99, however at the register they come up as on sale at $2.99. So I bought all 4 of the shaving cream ones they had. I would guess the other Real Shaving Co. items are also on sale.

It's a good thing I like this stuff.

    Cheers, Steve.

    welcome to SRP

make sure you don't buy a straight razor, hone, and strop there, though, even if it rings at a tenth of the sticker

I'm a big fan of the Real Shaving Company shave cream and also their balm, although the facial scrub is the worst personal grooming product I've ever used. Luckily for those of us in the UK the RSC products are available in most Poundland stores, including the old formula Body Shop cream which has been repackaged as Real Shaving Company Limited Edition cream in 175ml tubs. Fantastic buy for a pound.

I might have done that at one time had I not been reading here for a while, those cheap razors and the like are mighty tempting when you don't know any better.

I bought some old razors off eBay, I just waiting for my hones to come in. And since I can't work on my cars until spring this will give me something to do.

I'm going to give it a go, then if I can't get it right I'll send one off to a Honster, (is that even a word).

    Cheers, Steve.
