    Were it not for computers in general ,and this site in particular, most of us would not know how to restore or sharpen or shave with a straight. Let alone what to collect. I am thankful for the info and the comraderie here. Thaks for starting this forum. I for one love it here. Mack

    i also agree...we have lynn abrams to thank for starting this and willing to help all who are trying to get started..best bunch of guys you will ever meet are right here.

    Yes, I think it's saved a ton of pain to a lot of us, and has cost me a small fortune plus months of my life I'll never get back.... Still the best way to shave though, and a fun hobby.

    Word ! I got into collecting straights and shaving with them in the mid '80s but gave it up because I couldn't learn to hone. Fast forward 25 years to SRP and Lynn Abrams and now I am a bona fide straight razor shaver. and I can hone a little bit too.
    Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
