Thanked: 0Has anyone heard of the brand 'Cora'?
Hi all, im a new user and I found this site while trying to hunt down some information on a straight razor I picked up at a market several years ago, haven't found any information so far and hoping a friendly forumite could help out.
The razor is branded 'Cora', made in Germany, carries an emblem on the handle and has a faded insignia on the blade itself which i believe says 'CORA BEST'. It also has a box which although has worn alot is still in pretty strong condition.
As i said I have searched but my experience in this area is limited so any help or leads anyone can give would be sincerely appreciated, thank you in advance

I don't know a lot about this brand.

looks like it could do with some polishing compound. And it looks like the toe has been honed more than the heel, so it tapers to the toe. Could have been made that way though.
Other than that, it doesn't look like too bad of a find.
Based on what Manah said, it's probably about 50 yrs old, so, it should be good, once it's been restored a bit.
