Also, I think using VERY hot water might counteract some of the "obig bowl" problems
I was kinda curious why you would want a scuttle to put the soap puck into - it might just melt away a lot of soap. I would have suggested loading the brush with soap instead.

If you're having trouble loading the brush, maybe try a boar bristle brush instead. They're pretty cheap (maybe <$20) and available in some drugstores. Because the bristles are stiffer you can almost scrape the soap up. I use a boar bristle now, and it's more comfortable on my face if I soak it in hot water in the sink while I shower. I flick out the water then splash a little water on the puck before loading. After that, I either lather on my face or make some uber-lather in a bowl. HTH!

Thanks, but I just don't like Boars... They don't agree with me...

I know my methods are a little -okay, a lot- unorthodox, but, in my OCD splendor, they work for me...

    Comfort zone?

Well, I can tell you with the georgetown with the new pattern in the scuttle the thing almost wips up lather by itself. Its almost a problem not over doing it.

I would guess for the routine you want the schwartz would be your ticket. he sells a whole system for storing soaps and using them in the scuttle.

Holy S ... I completely forgot about the soap cap for the Schwarz! Winner. Thanks a ton Spendur.

Which changes my current plans to getting a small Moss for when I figure out how to face lather, and getting a Schwarz for my Soap Fetish! Now I just need to figure out how to load a brush with soap, rather than lathering on top of the soap as I have been doing...

On a semi-related note... Has anyone used the Schwarz soap-cap? How well does the Grated Soap idea work? Thanks guys!
