    Thumbs up First Complete Str8 Razor Shave Today

    I shaved my entire face with my str8 razor today. BBS not quite there yet because I only made 1-2 passes, but I did shave both sides of my face, chin and neck; and even though I am right-handed, I shaved the left side of my face with my left hand. Only 2-3 very small nicks that disappeared when I applied the alum block. No razor burn at all.

    I appears that I'm slowly getting the hang of this.

    Good job! it isn't rocket science, is about practice. one or two passes should be enough. much more than that you may get some irritation. I am just now getting satisfied with one pass most of the time. But practice and a 'little' blood is expected.

    I love a full 3 pass shave-- extra benefit is it is so close I only need to shave every other day... luckily I don't get any irritation-- maybe my coticule finished edge has something to do with that.

    Congratulations!!.. I remember my first and it wasn't that long ago!! I get more and more pleasure from straight razor shaving each day... Just a few nicks is great too... Keep having fun!
