I remember gathering information before buying my first razor, and really stressing about which grind, which toe, which width, which scales, etc. I was thinking I would find the one perfect razor and be done with it.
So for my first I settled on the dovo 5/8 full hollow round point, mainly because it came with a good starter kit and I liked the looks. After a few months I decided to try a 1/4 hollow, thinking I would compare the two and sell one of them. I quickly figured out that I like them both, enjoying the difference in the shave.
So for anyone out there just getting started-- there is no way to know which one you'll really like without just getting a few different ones. If you don't like one, there's a great classified service here (but I bet you'll just hang on to 'em!)

Thanked: 22???
I've never shaved with a full wedge before so don't put a lot of stock in what I'm about to say. It seems to me I remember reading that you can get just as good a shave from a wedge as you can from a full hollow. The big difference is the full wedges need to be honed more often wheras the more hollow grinds tend to hold an edge longer.
