    Thanks, but that is soooo much more than I need... I'm just trying to figure out stones, for the most part, I'm just upkeeping the work people with that kind of toy do.

    Get it without a camera, you don't need a camera. But you do need steady magnification. A loupe's drawback is you and the workpiece need to maintaina set distance constantly, and your will be swaying around, etc. The benchscope has rack and pinion focusing that takes care of that and keeps it all steady.

    I asked becasue summer isn't /that/ far off, and I'd like to get a grip on what I want to pick up... Also becasue I know next to nothign about Barber Hones
