Thanks to all of you
I would like to thank all of you and the sites wiki. The last few weeks i have been reading and learning from all of you.
I recieved my SR and strop from RupRazor a few days ago, so with the knowledge you all have passed on i put my learing to action. I showered to soften the beard, used the soap you can get at walmart for my lather, rinsed my SR in hot water and began my journey in learning SR shaving. During this first ever shave i just did one pass WTG, i wanted to obviously take it slow. With all of the knowledge you all passed on I made it through with a decent shave and no blood.
Last night was my second SR shave. This time I did a pass WTG and a pass ATG. Very nice, smooth close shave, so again with your knowledge passed on Im well on my way, thank you.

Welcome to SRP. I think that you will be wishing that your whiskers would grow faster. Take it slow, its real easy to feel that you should progress faster. I know, I've made that mistake. Keep learning from the members here, its a great site.

I read and re-read every Wiki and every post for 5 months prior to joining. I devoured the info for another month before putting blade to skin. I have had an easy time from my first shave, and I credit this site.
It's a lot easier to navigate, when you have a map.
