Hey everyone - I have been reading and applying all the useful information from everyone for a few months now and asked "why haven't I joined already" . . . anyway, problem fixed.
I am relatively new to this (few months) and am just now finally getting used to SR shaving. I have a Thiers Issard Le Grelot 6/8 and a DOVO 5/8. I have to say I like the size and weight of the TI blade better. Also, I changed to Penhaligon's shaving cream a couple weeks ago and will never look back . . . what a shave.
Look forward to continued learnings and to hopefully offer some help at some point.

Thanked: 530Penhaligon's a little to pricey for me.. I like TOBS, and Mama Bear... Can't go wrong with the SRD soap though. It's cheap and it's EXCELLENT!

Welcome to SRP. Nice razors you have there.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Hello, Greg,
Welcome to SRP.
From the looks of things, you're starting with quality razors and products. Good show.

Jackson,
Welcome to SRP...Glad to hear that you finally became a registered member of SRP.
Your str8 razor shaving gear sounds great too. I been thinking about purchasing a TI "Le Grelot" as well as some Penhaligon's shave cream myself in the near future.

Welcome to the gang, and nice gear you've got there. What are you using for a strop, if I might ask?
