Newbie thanks
Guess I shouldn't post this as a new thread but here goes any way. You guys rock!!! Thanks to all the mentors site devolpers and everyone else involved the information combined here is invaluable. It helps newbies like me 3 months make proper choices in equipment, shaving technique, etc. What I'm getting at is the information provided even helped me make a good choice at a antique shop where I bought 3 razors. I read and reread the wiki on honing carefully went to work on the first razor. Just shaved with it tonite got a pretty decent shave while my hone work is not on the level of the razors I have sharpened by Lynn I'm pretty stoked by the results of my first try. Again my hats off to all the people involved with this site. THANKS,THANKS,THANKS

Congrats on your antique shop finds and your venture into honing. The best thanks you can give is to shave your experiences with us and other newbies and share your learnings with all. Enjoy your shaves and watch out for the RADS!
