    Default Adam's Apple

I have been shaving with a straight razor for a while and I have one troublesome area, my Adam's Apple. It is quite large in comparison to my neck and I find it hard to shave over the area. I have tried to pull my skin to one side or another, but it won't go far enough to help. I have always had to go over it with a DE. Does anyone else have this problem, or have suggestions? I sometimes think I am the only one that has to deal with it this bad.

    Thanks

    One thing that might help:

Take your finger and touch your Adam's Apple. Then swallow. Notice how it gets sucked in to where it's almost completely flat there on your neck as you swallow? If you swallow and hold it there at that flat point (takes practice), it could help. Even if it doesn't go completely flat, you can likely maneuver around that utilizing a similar manipulative technique.

    Hope this helps

Heres my technique, maybe it will help, strech the skin to one side of the apple and shave that, then stretch the skin to the other side and shave it.

I do a combination of both the above replies,I tend to move the skin over to one side then to the other side, then i also tend to half swallow to manipulate my adams apple for more access to the area, its what works for me. GL
