I used to hate learning new things in school, but this is way cooler. Welcome.

yeah it is im just getting tired of the gilette fusion 5 blade i use and have never experienced a real shave, plus there is something overly manly about a straight razor

    Default Another New Guy

    Hello, Shawn:

Welcome to SRP. We are glad to have you. Look around the site for tons of information on how to get started shaving with a straight razor, what to buy, and where to buy it.

Remember this, though: that straight razor shaving takes patience and care as you hone your skill. I suppose if you want to look at it as a cool way of shaving, you're at the right address. Many do consider it cool.

    Regards,

    Obie
