Some of that was by design, other by financial necessity and some by noob idiocy. I'm the proud owner of four (count 'em: FOUR) pakistani pos razors. They make GREAT letter openers, at least for awhile.

Another part was being OCD about the learning curve.

Another was REALLY wanting a high-dollar blade, but finally realizing the wisdom of buying a good entry level Dovo and starting there.

Thus it is that I finally got a full shave. Hallelujah!
