    Default Noob honing

    I've honed and honed...and then honed :-)
Finally after nice hone wear on my first razor I've got it.
After so many knives honed I couldn't make myself to put only the weight of the blade on my Norton 4k/8k.
As soon as I've done that things changed.
My shaves are smooth and without that awful burning feeling afterwards.
I had two nice shaves with my first razor (Tennis-Solingen).
Tomorrow I'll use my other str8 (Benedict, Warren & Davidson).

    P.S.
I hope my third str8 will be Thiers Issard but that wont happen so soon cuz I'm all out of money...some day :-)

How you can apply so much pressure as you do with knives, when you are holding the razor with one hand?
