    Default Funny thing

When I was researching the art of using str8 razors the guys at work were giving me a hard time. Some of the quotes "too expernsive", "too much work" and my favorite "you are going severe your ear off". But, the one thing I did noticed was the guys who have had a str8 shave in the past ran their hands over their beards trying to remembering what it felt like. Now that I have pulled the trigger and ordered my set from SRD they have been coming up to me one by one wanting to try it. I guess reflection is a powerful thing. As I write this my set just arrived and now it is time to give it whirl...Jeff

    Yep, thats how it goes!

My dad used to tease me about it, now he wants one...!

Good luck for your shave! Just take it slow, and start with an easy area like the cheek. If you feel uncomfortable, just stop. Its not worth the blood loss..! Keep your pressure light and watch your angles and you'll be fine!

Let us know how you get on!

Congrats! Sounds like a successful first shave!

Just keep at it, take things slowly and enjoy! It just gets better from here!
