    Default Razor Burn

I was starting to experience some razor burn about one month ago. On the advice of Dr. Friend,,,, he said lay off the shaving alltogether for a week. Let the face heal before you start attacking it again. A straight razor exfoliates ...takes off a layer of dead skin...thats one of the reasons your face feels so smoothe once you get used to it... I've been thinking about teaching my wife to shave! It would be less expensive that the expensive exfoliants and face creams she buys!! ... You may have sensetive skin as well.

So I layed off a week and applied a face lotion my wife suggesed twice a day for a week and the problem went away..

It wasn't long after I restarted that I recognized that my razor was pulling some.. I've wondered if that wasnt' the problem in the first place. I had been waiting for this to happen and had prepared a balsa strop with green Cr02... probably the same as your barber hone... made 10 passes and it made a whale of a difference..

Could have been coincedence but... I think my razor was causing the razor burn because it had lost its edge..

you are getting some great advice... choose which advice you think fits your circumstances and go for it..

good luck.. hope you've found what you are looking for!
