The help and advice you get on SRP is second to none. You need to ask yourself why your query was answered in the manner that it was.

Goes to show that you just can't help some people...I'm glad to say that sort of attitude is very rare here...
Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.

] and then maybe you need more of a finishing stone to get that ultra smooth feeling, (12k, ort CrOx on a balsa strop ect) but again thats just going to cost more money. Now i know people have honed razors on the norton 4/8 only im not sure what youve already done, if it seems to be working for you then i dont think you damaged it, so try the pyramid and see what happens, hope this helps!
It does! Thank you for the response. I appreciate it.

The other was answered with . . .
    get some wet dry sandpaper.
pay to have somebody else do it.
spend 200 bucks on a redundant tool.

    Take care.
I actually did answer your two questions to what I think the problems are. I guess if my efforts go unnoticed then I'm of no use.

Second question: the different lengths of hair probably more had a combination of beard preparation and different hair softness, perhaps inconsistent bevel on the edge resulting in sharper parts of the blade, hair growth direction, and differing blade pressure across your face. I would say that the different types of grabs are probably primarily due to too high of an angle.

    Therein lies the issue.

The questions have been answered several times. But the answers are not what the poster wants, therefore he has a temper tantrum.

How many times have these questions been answered already in how many different threads?

I think we have a case of someone that chooses to not read the existing threads on the subject. Essentially, putting the onus on everyone else to do the work for him.

How about doing like people do on every other forum on the 'net. Read, read, read. And then when you cant find the answer, then ask the question in a new thread.

    Agreed.

I made the mistake of buying first. And of course all of the errors that come with trying to figue it out.

I found this site after the fact and have already identified all the dumb things I have done along the way because of the information shared here.

The members of this site are quite knowledgable and more than willing to help out us newbs.
