    Default I nicked my razor!

I accidentally nicked my straight razor on my faucet head. It is very, very small but it is there. Can I do anything about it? Should I hone my blade?

The only fix is to hone it or to send it out. Until then, it's out of service.

If it a small chip it can be honed out. it will take a bit of work, if you have not had much practice at honing might be better sending it out to get fixed.
Also have good look at blade to check no micro-cracks have appered as that means the death of a good razor.

If the chip is at the very ends or its really small you can probably use it but not long term. Either hone it out or if your not up to the task send it out.

Give it to a pro to hone so they can fix it up for you. Sorry to hear about it. It takes effort and experience to fix those type of issues. But if you have the gear, time, and interest then see what you can do.
