Thread: How often do you shave?

Once every 6-7 days usually my skin really doesnt like to be shaved but lets see how it goes with a straight razor shall we

I shave with a straight on Monday night's, Wends or Thurs night's, and then sometimes on Saturday morning/afternoon. Then if I need to I will shave on Tues or Friday with my disposible (bic single blade).


I just need the extra time either at night or on the weekend...as I get better I think that it will take less time unless I want to enjoy a slow relaxing shave.

Ack!!! A Bic single? I've never been able to use one of those. it just drags across my face.

The funny part is since I have taken up straight's it is the only cartgage/disposible that I can use with out my face feeling like it is going to be ripped off. I use the same lather as I do with straight and it works out well. My old M3 or others, now just clog up and I end up cutting my face.

Soon once I find a DE that I really like I will switch to that instead.

Ladies and gentlemen:

I shave every day. I love the ritual of traditional and straight razor shaving too much to start my day without it.
