    Default Belicoso's lather trick

I think the brush picks up too much shaving cream when used alone, since I am "frugal" by nature (some may call me cheap) I tried putting a small amount of cream over my puck of shaving soap.
The brush mixes them well and I get a nice lather going in no time, with the smoothness of the cream and the lubrication of the soap.

    What are your tricks?

Mixing cream and soap together? I've never done that but might try it in the morning.

    My trick:
(This trick seems to work best with MWF soap)
Lather up after your shave and spend a few seconds rubbing the lather into your face with your hand. It seems to work like a moisturizer and your face will feel even better for it. It lasts most of the day for me and it can replace a balm or after shave. (I use the balm and AS as well though).

    Does anyone else do this?
I love the smell of shaving cream in the morning!

Mixing cream and soap produces what is know as Super lather
If you add a little bit of glycerin to the mix you end up with Uber lather.

And once you've shaved with uber lather a few times, you probably won't go back to regular lather. If you've never tried uber lather, you owe it to yourself to give it a try!
