Default ...Sigh... making me spend more money....

You all are the bad crowd my mother warned me about! Now that I've here and doing all the reading, I've gotten comfortable with the idea of buying more str8 razors!............. my poor pocket book!

I found a Dixon Cutlery 5/8 hollow ground round tip for 12$ that only took a bit of honing to get up to shaving...( i shaved half my face with it tonight)

And Then I also found a Wade & Butcher Half 5/8 Half Hollow with an irish point i think? It was 7$ and it was almost sharp enough to shave with, but it did need a little honing as well. Shaved other half then cleaned up with the frameback w&b)

Heres all of them with my W&B barbers notch frame back...

And I have mentioned that I made a home made Strop, here it is with some of the razors!

I'm gonna end up in the poor house....... oh wait, already there, at least ill be clean shaven

    Hehe! Feel the RAD..!

I feel your pain, I have a major case of RAD and I've just gotten interested in Japanese natural stones as well. Why couldnt I have gotten a cheaper AD, like soaps or something..? Oh thats right, I have that one too..!

Nice strop! Think about it, you could be spending the money on mock3 blades, getting bad shaves and no fun.

Oh, please don't come to us looking for sympathy. We are all quite damaged here. And, you can't say you weren't warned.

I can either give you the name of a good lawyer for the divorce or the name of a good therepist for your ADs. Unfortunately, both of them are str8 shavers also.

Yeah, I'm trying to avoid HAD like the plague. BAD is nothing to sneeze at either. $500 for a bush - yikes!

Oi ye puir wee laddie. It breaks my heart so that I'm willing to relieve you of those and compensate you the enormous amount you paid for them.

Nice catch for the price. I hope you get good blades off them. That wade looks like a spanish point to me, the end is concave, isn't it?

Nice shavers. I particularly like the look of the W&B with the blade etching. IME the RAD will lessen as more are accumulated but the expenditure will increase as discrimination becomes more acute and the overall quality of the razors increases. Bigger bucks, minty razors.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
