    yeah, don't sweat it... it looks like it may clean up without too much resistance, and there are many worse mistakes a beginner can make. One good thing from all of this is that I'd bet that you don't make that mistake again. follow the tips the guys have already given you and you should be set...Good luck

    We've all learned from our mistakes. It doesn't look irretrievable, as others have said. Careful polishing (ie near the edge) and a good strop on the cloth should do the trick. Best not do it again though.

    When I was a newbie I closed my razor and the day after I noticed there was water between the scales which left a spot on the blade. I polished it out with a tissue and a little bit of Dovo red strop paste. This removed the stain completely. Now I always check my razor for little water drops and never got a stain again.
