That would indeed be nice, but right now I already don't have enough money for gas and laundry for the rest of the year (tuition plus room and board is paid for already), and I have zero income, so saving up will take some time at this rate.

As for the strop, I do have a Filly, and I'll use the rough side of that for paste when needed. I already had that MDF "paddle strop", as I use it for honing woodworking tools (chisels, plane irons, etc.).
