    There are too many variables involved to give a recommendation that will suit everybody. We give rather specific recommendations for shaving on a budget, but beyond that, there is only personal preference, experience, and budgets.

    Seeing as there are only a few vendors, and these are all one-stop-shops so-to-speak... and these all offer pre-assembled kits...

    ...why should SRP spoon-feed people by making a kit for them? If people have a hard time putting together their first kit it is only because they fail to take the advice already present- ergo they would not buy a kit we advised them to anyway. They want a Filly strop and a Fili razor... and to hone it themselves.

    I think we would be getting into some murky waters if SRP started endorsing specific brands/vendors...
