Thread: Newbie question...Are these compareable?

A fresh yellow Japanese DE blade vs what im getting in the mail...AJ Jordan Sheffield 7/8 str8 razor (honed by Sham..Thnx! from the classified section)

As I was using my Yellow De blade..I barely touched right left side under my ear lobe and nicked myself without even touching myself!..boy was this annoying..man these DE blades are sharp!...smooth yes..but I did miss a line of spots under my chin that im not gonna go back to touch up not wanting razor burn as well as another small patch on left side of my mouth...as sharp as a yellow feather is and for the first time I went 5 passes after 3 days of beard growth (my background is polish/Hungarian descent)..the hairy type...;-P
I can only hope and feel my str8 razor will be more forgiving and yea no more need to buy as many blades if need be (unless my str8 gets honed by a pro). comments/suggestions always appreciated!
