Thanked: 2I will not get ****y again. I will not get ****y again...
For the last month I've been using my Boker about 70% of the time and a Mappin Bros. for the rest. I've been really good at taking my time and using a light pressure on the blade...not doing anything that doesn't "feel right", and have been rewarded with a no nick face. Until this morning. I decided to go with the Mappin. I find it a far more forgiving blade than the Boker and can shave in any direction..even upwards on my neck..something I still find impossible with the Boker. I was thinking all this and getting a little rushed and sloppy with my shaving when ! I now sport a 10mm (3/8in) nick just east of my nose. Lesson learned. No blade suffers a fool lightly.
