First Shave
I only shaved once though, I figured that I carved up my face enough on one pass, didn't want to go for broke. Good thing I invested in a new styptic stick. I must have cut myself at least six times, if not more.
I went back and touched up any areas that I missed with my regular razor.
I watched Lynn's DVD on shaving twice, man does he make it look easy! LOL!!!
The two problem areas that I had were my chin, naturally, and my sideburns. I had a hard time seeing my sideburns because my hand was in the way. I did what I was supposed to do, I reached over my head with my left hand and pulled the skin tight upwards while starting my right sideburn, but I seemed to have a hard time seeing what I was doing. Same thing on the other side.
Other than that, I had fun! Although, I will admit that it is intimidating as all hell holding that sharp weapon in your hand against your face.

Congrats on the shave. All the problems you mentioned will come naturally within a month or two of shaving. Good job keeping it positive. My shave was a bit anticlimactic too.

Thanked: 190You may want to work on sections at a time and then build off of that. I kept going for a full shave and used my Mach 3 to clean up when I was starting out. I continued to keep with the full face shave and the Mach 3 clean up, but I think I would have learnd faster by doing 1 section at a time and had less weepers/cuts.
But I pushed through and got better all the way around pretty quick.
You are off and running and doing well. Just letting you know many of us have been through the process like you and prevailed, so I know you will too.
