I've been looking around old antique shops for a straight razor for a few months now, and since I live in a small town, all I've been able to find is a Hamburg Concave with some tarnish on it.

I was wondering- is it possible to get the tarnish off?

or

Should I just wait and find a different razor?

Also, I'm on a very tight budget, paying my way through college, and need to keep things cheap.
