Default Got some help from fellow SRP'er today

Today I met with Glen M. (gssixgun) in Sandpoint Idaho to pick up a couple of freshley honed razors and he also showed me many fine pointers about honing, to anyone here looking to get a razor honed properly I would definately reccomend sending them to Glen, his work is absolutely top notch and he is a gentleman of the finest sort for taking time out of his schedule to help a new guy get straightened away

    Thanks Glen

This is definitely a great community of people. A fellow member sent me some samples of Shave Cream I wanted to try. And I am going over to another members hose tuesday to hang out and get help with honing and shaving tips.

I've really enjoyed the camaraderie and out right niceness from the members at this sight.
I hope to spend some time myself with Glen this summer, if the stars align. I have one razor from Glen it is in my top 5 favorites.
I actually had a member here give me a couple of shave ready razors and a puck of EJ soap. The razors I used at first, but now have purchased a couple more fitting to what I like. Now my wife uses them when she's feeling up for a spike point.
I also appreciate the quick responses from both thread posts and PMs.

    You are most welcome Jake..
It was great meeting you and your wife

As you saw I could have gone on for hours, about razors, and hones, and honing... hehehe

Not many people up in our neck of the woods, but I am really thinking toward the end of August we need to have a small get together up here, either in Spokane, or at my place if we want to do some restoration...

Whether its a 4 or 6 hour drive for me doesn't make a difference. There are few near the yak.

I have been consistently surprised and impressed by the willingness of many members of this site to help out other people.

This has got to be one of the most genuinely helpful and friendly communities on the Internet.

I'd like to hang out with Glen too, but I'm sick of him yacking about razors, buffers and whatnot, so the plan is to do it in Vegas
