Thanked: 1Still making progress...
Hi All,
Just a quick update: So, still keeping with it.
As per a previous suggestion, I replaced the unidentifiable Shoppers Drug Mart "Pure Bristle" with a badger brush.
Whilst it's softer than the other one (probably boar), I'm not sure what other noticeable difference it made, because after only using it twice it fell down the toilet...
Having then spent a day trying to work out now only "how", but "should" you clean badger hair that's been down the loo, I have just bought second replacement badger brush in a week and will now resume with that.
Cheers,
Jase

Oh, come on, which area of the badger's body do you think the softest and whitest Silver tips come from
Trust me those hairs have seen way more in their life

Don't you just hate it when that happens?
The official line from the manufactures for cleaning your badger hair shaving brush is to soak it in a mild solution of Borax.
Hopefully your 'toilet brush' wasn't an expensive one!

Hehe! Thats annoying, I must say.
I've done the same thing though. Well, when I say I've done the same thing, I mean one of my kittens knocked my brush into the can whilst playing with it...
I only have one brush though, so I washed it thoroughly and shampoo'd it (insert joke here) and it's been fine..!
Glad to hear you're keeping with it!
