Default First semi successful pass over chin/moustache

I have probably had 15+ shaves but have always had issues with the lip and chin area. I do so well until I get to that part. Last night I had my closet success in those areas. Which means before long I wont need to touch up with my DE.

Congratulations. Glad to hear that your proficiency with your straight razor is improving. Keep it up!

    Take care--and continued smooth shaving...

Recall that your whiskers arrived a bit at a time.
Had you used an open blade razor then you would have
had a year to figure it out.

The only thing to remember is "Use NO force Luke".

    As always have fun too.

Default First semi successful pass . . .

    Hello, Luke:

Little by little it will happen. Take your time and shave with care. Experiment and improvise. You're doing fine.

glad to hear you are having some success.
You may want to try different skin stretching techniques. It will come the places that you are having trouble with are the most common trouble spots. Since you are a DE using you are already ahead of most other people who start with a straight.

You're doing fine. The above advice is especially important to heed. Everyone has their own learning curve. I had lots of trouble with my upper lip until I added an ATG to the WTG & XTG passes.
