Thanked: 9Many thanks to Del1r1um
Hello everyone,
Many of you may remember that in my first post I asked about Mentors in the NC area. My answer came in the form of Del1r1um [ kinda sounds like medication]. After corresponding a couple of times, we met today and I was fortunate to get to spend 1 1/2 hrs. with him. Not only did we have a great conversation, but he answered all of my questions and critiqued my stropping [ one change to make]. He also demonstrated stropping on felt with crox, as well as demonstrating proper use of my swaty. I consider myself fortunate to have met such a personable and knowledgeable young man. THANK YOU Dave and thanks to SRP. He certainly deserves the title of Mentor.
Thanks,

Dave is a generous guy.
Can't wait to get going on that 1095 blank he gave me.

Don't let him fool you guys... Gerald has been doing his forum/wiki homework. By the time I got there, I was just enjoying his company!
Nice talking with you today. I hope I'm still around for the next NC meet-up so we can chat again (and you'll get to meet the other great SRP members too).
Till next time
Dave

Thanked: 9Quick update
After yesterday's strop critiquing and confidence building session with "coach" Del1r1um, I won this mornings game. No nicks, no stubble, and no errors! Perhaps my best straight shave yet. Thanks again Dave.
Thanks,
