and I must say at times it didnt feel too good and sometimes it felt like I was using the spine as it was very smooth. I think I was in too much of a hurry when it didnt feel good and I would catch myself and get the proper angle. I did both cheeks and the neck. I tried the jawline which didnt feel right. I made 3 passes, however I felt areas that were not smooth. Hopefully it just takes practice. I am happy to say that I did not nick myself on this shave. I enjoyed this learning shave and look forward to doing it again. I had two days growth for this shave. I used a Dovo Professionally Honed 5/8. Following the shave, I dried it and gave it 20 passes on the strop then oiled it and put it away for the night. Just wanted to share my first shave experience.
