    If it was me I would save all the money you are spending on antiques until you learn the ins and outs of restoring
    Sage advise and I would ordinarily agree. However, I also collect cutlery so at $15 a piece, I didn't think I could go wrong. If I can actually get some use out of them, though, I can justify buying more to the wife!

    Just a little note. I was researching Rawson and Youle myself and found out the following. Far from being pakistani Rawson and Youle were working in Sheffield, England from about 1852. They achieved great renown in Germany (unusual) until a change in trademark lost them their visibility as a brand and led to the downfall of the firm in the early part of the 1900s. My son just found a week set in presentation box for £60 (about $100US), days of the week are inscribed along the back edge of the razor. Hope this helps.
