    Thumbs up How Many Newbies like me?

    Are there? I see them clocking in daily. It would be nice to see some kind of graph on how Straight Razor's are catching on.

    If it were not for the internet and this great site, I can't see how I would have possibly even attempted such a feat as this. I think it was traditionally handed from father to son throughout the ages, close to being a dead art.

    It would be cool to see a Dovo commercial on tv! wow!

    There would be millions of newbies, many of whom would never have heard of a straight razor. There are heaps more newbies being born all the time too...

    I too, would like to see a Dovo or similar commercial on the idiot box. Surely it would pay to advertise and help to educate. At least to try and kick old king gillette in the seat of the pants...He'd probably just bring out a multi-bladed, nuclear powered, swiss army knife, with mirrors attached, to try and combat the affront by a lone, single edged, long lasting, great shaving, work of art, that is the cut-throat razor.

    How about a gillette straight razor? That would be a switch.

    A razor like that would put Gillette lout of business. It would last too long.

    Unfortunately, the "safety razor" trends also capture searches for a company named "American Safety Razor" which recently filed for Chapter 11. They do, however, make razor blades, so I guess one could argue it is still relevant. {END TANGENT}

    I think you need to work on your self-confidence. You really shouldn't care how many new members like you. Realistically, you should be more concerned about how many senior members like you!
