    Default 14 Hours

I noticed something that I felt I should share.

I had to cut the grass this morning so I showered and shaved at about 0900. at about 2315 I rubbed my chin and neck and noticed that I am still fairly smooth. I also did not have any nicks or burn today, not bad I think for just over one week with the straight razor.

Just thought I would share since I am still getting the hang of the straight shave I am impressed with it.

Same here. I can easily get 24 hours on a shave. I think that it makes it easier the next day to shave when you barely have any stubble left from the day before.

What never fails to amaze me is that I can shave at 10pm and wake up the next morning and it's STILL better than a Mach3 if I had done it that morning.

It takes a lil time to get er down, but the more ya do the better it will be. I am now finally getting where I can get my chin like it needs to be, but for sure, a good SR shave is better than any other shave I have ever had. Not that I am good at it, but I am getting better. So, have fun with it Jimmy......

I had a little experiment with todays shave, one I've done before, but a good one to re-visit occassionally. I shaved the entire right side with a straight, then did the left side with the predecessor of Mach 3, the gillette twin. By comparison, 13 hours later, the right side is down right smooth compared to the left.

Oh yeah, Desert Eagle in .357...Much better than Colt 1911

Have it every day, all the time. I like my Sig 1911, I diverged off the shave but you started it.

    Have a good one Kent.

Now, what were you saying about guns!?
It is easier to fool people than to convince them they have been fooled. Twain
