Promotion!!
After at 7 months and many shaves I hereby promote myself to NOVICE. I've been getting really good shaves recently. I am able to strop a razor and not destroy it or the stop. After shaving I feel wonderful and my wife is amazed that I pass the test in great fashion.
So, I'll take it upon myself to promote myself to NOVICE and no longer the FNG!!!
Thank you all for your wonderful advice and assistance with Straight Razor Shaving. I only wish I had started years ago.Last edited by gssixgun; 08-10-2010 at 02:29 PM.

As far as my wife is concerned: She also likes the way my face feels. I also got on a the list for a Robert Williams Custom, but that is a long way off.
