well was going through my razor`s to figure witch ones to send out for honing. one is very sharp so i went to my buddy that does leather work and got a new belt strap. i stuck one end of it under my computor monitor and sharpened it. its cool how you can hear the differance between a dull razor and one that is shaving sharp. the way i test knives i sharpen is to shave some hair off my arm so thats what i did with the razor. then i put some shaving cream on my left side of my face and shaved it. it worked but decided to stop till i get the right face cream. can`t wait till i get everything i need. it was also cool using soething that my great grandfather used. dave

    Hi,

That's great. You have many more of those aha! moments ahead. It can take some time since learn this stuff since most of us only have one face to shave, so there is not as much practice time.
