Hi Spock and welcome to SRP.
You might want to check The Invisible Edge websites. He is in UK and you could send your razor to him to get honed.
Hey you're from IOM. I've always liked to visit there and see the races. The last real RR races there is in the world.'That is what i do. I drink and i know things'

Looks like it could be useful!
Always nice to hear from fans of the TT! The GP practices start this week too so we should be in for some more good road racing over the next 2 weeks!

I can understand the budget thing, I have found that you can get a good quality basic Dovo razor for under $100 and will come shave ready from the right web sight like straight razor designs or vintage blades. By getting a basic quality razor you will enjoy learning the wonderful art of shaving with a straight without wondering it its a good razor or if its sharp enough. And believe me learning to shave with a dull razor is no fun. Keep coming back to the guys on this site, they will help alot.
