Thanked: 2First good shave.
So I have been at this for about a week and a half and I just had my first good shave yesterday. No cuts and BBS on my cheeks, still have a little work to do on my chin. I just kept telling myself no pressure and it deffinitly made for a better shave with no rash. The other place I am still having a lot of difficulty with though is the corners of my mouth, I can not even get a good first pass let alone ATG or XTG. Any hints?
Thanks
Ryan

The corners of the mouth should be easy enough. On your XTG pass, start from the corner of the mouth and move toward your ear. Like you, the hair right there on the corner don't want to go anywhere without some coaxing. Stick your tongue right at the corner of the mouth and it will provide just enough stretching for you. Then it's once, twice, three times right there on the corner then off toward the ear.

Thanked: 36Dont let that toungue slip of your check, out your mouth and onto the ... oooooooo
Open your mouth wide to do the WTG, and when you get to it ATG. Works for me, stretches the skin flat.
All the best, and grats on the good shave.

There are several areas on the face that you'll need to learn the angles for your face. I have never admitted this but I used a Popsicle stick to learn which angle is best on my face. You can see the best angle for your face without having to worry about cutting yourself.

Thanked: 190Corners of the mouth take some practice. First, WTG, then go ATG very lightly with the mouth open. At first, you make get some small weepers, but eventually the skin will become conditioned. I take the ATG pass and travel it up along the mustache hairs atg or very near atg.
This is such a nice detail that a straightrazor handles very well vs. the Mach 3,5,...etc.
Good Luck,
