    Default Oh la catastrophe!

After reading a post about the wicked foam strop, i taught it would be great idea to get a nails polishing/buffing kit to remove watermarks on some of my razors. Works so great! With a super mirror finish and stuff.. But i just dulled all the edges of those razors!!! I taught i was carefull thought... now i only have one shave-ready left..and with extra poor honing skills, it will be a busy weekend !!

Question for seniors: assuming i respect the wiki, can i waste a razor if i try to put it back to shave-ready state with a barber hone ? I mean, really waste it to the point honemeister can't do anything with it.

    Thanks.

Unlikely you'd do any lasting harm. Anyone worthy of the title "honemiester" should be able to sort things out.
Have a go, you might surprise yourself, & you have to start somewhere!

I agree with ben.mid, I send my honemeister razors I got off Ebay and then hand sand and polish. Basically what I 'm saying is REALLY DULL and he gets them scary sharp. Your less likely to mess up a razor on a barber hone than something more aggressive and faster cutting.
