    Default Pasted Strop

Considering purchase of a strop from SRD for using with paste.

What is best material for Cromox paste?

Hard pressed wool felt, webbed fabric or SRD premium fabric. BTW, what exactly is webbed fabric and SRD premium fabric?

Very subjective question there, as everyone has their favorite. Personally I prefer balsa, which is cheap and easy to make, but many like leather (either on a hanging strop or a bench strop) and some like pasting the fabric strop.

I don't think you could say what is THE best because so many things work well. I use leather with a bench strop for my pastes. Many others have their favorites.

The SRD modular strop is very versital. The felt pads work great with CRX I also use them with diamond spray. Balsa is a cheap alternative. My first pased strop was balsa.
