That's cool...but ya gotta give it a go sometime!!! And go lightly, at worst then you may get a small nick. I haven't yet. I only clip the strays every few days. Go check out my pic in that what doyou look like thread...You'll see I've also got to contend with a gap in the centre of my mo' as well.

I had a goatee until yesterday. I never had much of a problem shaving around it. I am peculiar about touchups to the point where single "wild" hairs could annoy me, in which case they must go. I also use my straight to shorten my goatee, usually it works like a charm, exept yesterday when I suddenly got too close and made a bald spot in my goatee. I decided it was a nice opportunity to try a clean shave for the first time with a straight razor. After wearing a goatee for years my chin still feels cold and nekkid, and I've never had so many nicks after shaving as I did last night.

I've also got a goatee. The way I work around it is to hold the razor verticle and makes strokes toward my ears. The way my hair grows, that is actually a wtg pass anyway. Then I go straight down from the lip to the top of the goatee. Under then chin I go directly toward the neck.

During my 2nd pass, I fine tune the boarders.
