    Default Finally it's done

I finally got around to shaving off that pesky hair with a straight.

It was awesome I won't go too much into detail as I'm sure everyone knows what that first shave was like when you put that atom splicing blade to your face. I swear I must have lost at least 5 pounds of muscle in my legs and arms during the process because I was so shaky during the whole thing. This actually was my first time shaving so that probably contributed to the scare. I did a 1/3 shave WTG and fixed the 'stache area as it seems I didn't get it done properly the first time. I don't think I was ever so careful and focused on the detail of what I'm doing as during that time.

I have Sham (hi_bud_gl) to thank for giving to me one of his blade and this forum for all the info I found Now I feel accomplished.

Boogeyman! Congrats! 'Takes a certain amount of stones to put the blade to face. I'm not that good at it yet, but still regularly get the best shaves of any method I've tried. I hope you really enjoy learning.

I must add - if Sham supplied your blade, you have it good. Pay alot of attention to what he tells you. He's extremely skilled, and just a wonderful guy. I've searched his threads, and am alot smarter for having done so. There are others - don't mean to sell them short. The help here and the attitudes are just phenomenal.

    'Hope you enjoy it alot.

Congratulations! You won't turn back. Did you draw any of the red stuff?

No I have not ;] I am surprised. I was almost certain that I would, yet I finished without cutting myself anywhere

I wish I started out with a straight but I suffered through years of mach this and that now I will never let them touch my face again.

Congrats! It only gets better from here. I love hearing about people's first shave, reminds me of my own shaky hands when putting that "atom splitter" up to my neck.
